The Persian artists who came with the Mughals, trained the Indian artists. Subsequently, the Indian artists, after learning the crafts, added their own new distinctive style in the artform. Their paintings were inspired by the royals and romantic lives of the Mughals. Later, the miniature paintings produced by Indian artists gained fame as Rajasthani miniature.
